We met online. We don’t remember who messaged who first, but we started messaging one another, exchanged numbers, texted, talked, and eventually decided to meet in person. We met for the first time at Partridge Creek outside of Max & Erma’s (at least, what used to be Max & Erma’s) at what is now known as “our bench”.

Almost 8 years later, at Jeff’s 50th birthday party, where our families were finally able to get together, Jeff asked me to marry him. Yes, in front of everyone! For those of you who know Jeff, this is outside of his comfort zone, which made it even more special.
